As another installment to my “Surrealist Dreamscape” series this piece beckons you into a liminal realm where imagination and reality entwine. At its core, a singular, watchful eye emerges from a tapestry of delicate pencil strokes—each line a whisper of thought and hidden longing. A narrow wooden pier extends toward a solitary cottage poised above tranquil waters, flanked by spectral boats that drift between consciousness and dream. Beneath, a lone figure stands upon a weathered rock, bathed in the warm glow of a sinking sun as gentle ripples carry echoes of memory across the page. Through meticulous hatching, subtle gradations of light and shadow forge a dialogue between the tangible world and the unseen depths of the psyche, inviting every viewer to pause, reflect, and step across their own Threshold.
