This surreal graphite composition invites viewers to contemplate the boundaries between reality, memory, and imagination. Divided into four evocative realms, the piece opens with shadowy figures walking a precarious cliff beneath dripping clouds, watched by an ominous eye. On top of the interior a curious lad peers into what’s below. The middle tier transitions into a dreamlike interior—where a framed picture illustrates a lone figure peering out to the ocean flanked by pulsating organic forms and another enigmatic eye embedded in the floor. Below, the tone softens into a harbor scene where sailboats drift past architectural tree forms, evoking tranquility. Blending psychological tension with moments of serenity, Parallax is a visual journey through layered consciousness.
